Overview

Datawatch Systems, Inc., a leader in commercial building electronic access control, is seeking an experienced Service Technician to maintain our access control systems in commercial buildings in our DC Metro region.
 

Pay starts at $25/hour plus benefits and paid time off. Company vehicle, laptop and cell phone provided.  All applicants applying for a position at Datawatch Systems must be willing to submit to a  drug screening and criminal background check.  EOE/M/F/V/D. DCJS #11-2294.  2022-8753

Responsibilities

  • Work requires that you be detail-oriented, and have a willingness to learn
  • Will maintain Datawatch equipment to company standards
  • Will troubleshoot and resolve equipment errors
  • Will multitask and work in fast-paced environment
  • Will use hand and power tools and work with low-voltage cabling
  • Be available to occasionally work weekends, holidays, or extended hours with two weeks’ notice
  • 30% travel (company-paid)

Qualifications

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to climb ladders
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. 
  • Able to work independently
  • At least one years experience installing, repairing or maintaining access control systems
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record required
  • Experience with Access Control, CCTV, Northern & ADEMCO preferred
  • Valid drivers license
