Customer Service Representative – New Installations (National)

The Customer Service Representative works as a single point of contact for our new clients through the initial phases of system implementation. 

Pay starts at $60,000/year plus benefits and paid time off.  This position includes potential commissions.  All applicants applying for a position at Datawatch Systems must be willing to submit to a  drug screening and criminal background check. E/O/E/M/F/V/D  2022-9326

• Provide support to clients outside of the DC Metro area
• Act as a liaison between the client and the internal Datawatch departments to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction as new clients and buildings are established
• Follow up with new and existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction
• Travel to customer sites nationally up to one week at a time - frequency of travel is dependent on sales/territory
  
• Train new clients on equipment/software
• Become familiar with, and competent in, all aspects of Access Control

• Able to travel nationally for extended periods of time (a week at a time)
• Minimum of two years customer service experience in a professional environment
  
• Excellent customer service skills including the ability to communicate technical situations to non-technical clients
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at once, to prioritize, and demonstrate excellent follow through on each task assigned
• Be highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities and projects at once
• Proven track record of working well with people at all levels of the company to complete tasks, resolve escalated issues and ensure an efficient work atmosphere

• Possess diplomatic and assertive qualities
• Professional appearance
• Able to work outside of normal business hours when needed, including evenings, holidays, and weekends with
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office is required, as well as the ability to learn additional software tools.
• Experience with MAStermind Software and Access Control a plus
