Overview

Datawatch Systems, Inc., a leader in commercial building electronic access control, is seeking a lead technician to install and service our access control systems in commercial buildings in Charlotte, NC region.

 

Pay starts at $22/hour plus benefits and paid time off. Company vehicle, laptop and cell phone provided.  Applicants must be willing to submit to a drug screening and criminal background check.  EOE/M/F/V/D. DCJS #11-2294, 2022-9404

Responsibilities

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Detailed-oriented and have a willingness to learn
  • Able to install low voltage cabling
  • Able to climb ladders and work in construction environment
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Experience with access control, CCTV (Axis and Panasonic) preferred.
  • Paid rotational on-call schedule
  • 25% travel (company-paid)

Qualifications

  • 1 to 2 years of experience installing access control and CCTV equipment
  • Practical experience with building life safety systems, low-voltage installation techniques, and access control components
  • Have a HS diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Able to work independently
  • Able to work weekends, holidays or extended hours as needed, with notice
